AWARD CATEGORIES

International Impact Book Awards

The International Impact Book Awards offers a thoughtfully curated range of categories designed to recognize excellence across fiction and nonfiction publishing.

Our categories reflect the diversity of voices, genres, and perspectives shaping today’s literary landscape. Each category exists to ensure that books are evaluated within the proper context, allowing works of different styles and purposes to be reviewed fairly, professionally, and with care.

With a total of 30 award categories, the International Impact Book Awards welcomes submissions that entertain, educate, inspire, and contribute meaningfully to readers, industries, and communities worldwide.

Authors are invited to select one category only—the category that best represents the primary focus and intent of their book.

How to Choose the Right Category

To ensure a fair and accurate evaluation, each book must be entered into a single category.

When selecting a category, authors should consider:

  • The primary purpose of the book

  • The intended audience

  • The central theme or contribution of the work

If a book appears to fit multiple categories, authors should select the category that most clearly reflects the dominant message or subject matter, rather than secondary themes.

Choosing the appropriate category ensures your book is reviewed alongside comparable works and assessed within the correct context.
