No. The judging process is completely independent, and attendance is not required to be selected as a finalist or winner.
That said, the gala is where the experience comes to life—where authors connect, are recognized in person, and share the moment together. Winners who are present are honored live on stage, while those who are not present will be acknowledged and can receive their award afterward.
No. All awards are based strictly on merit and evaluation. Ticket selection is entirely separate from the judging process.
