Hollywood Grand Gala Nomination

Because Stories Create Impact

Every great movement begins with a story.

Some stories are written quietly, long before the world is ready to hear them. Others are shaped through years of lived experience, resilience, and purpose. What they all share is this: when a story carries meaning, it deserves to be recognized.

The Author of the Year distinction exists to honor authors whose work demonstrates clarity of voice, excellence in craft, and measurable impact within their genre or field.

Why Author of the Year Matters

At the International Impact Book Awards, books are not viewed as products.
They are viewed as cultural contributions.

The Author of the Year recognition honors authors whose work reflects:

  • Purpose-driven storytelling

  • Professional quality and execution

  • Resonance with readers

  • Impact within a specific category or genre

This distinction is not based on popularity alone. It is designed to acknowledge authors whose stories stand out within their category, contributing meaningfully to readers, communities, or conversations.

Submitting your book is a declaration that your work belongs in that level of consideration.

A Category-Specific Honor

Each year, the International Impact Book Awards selects one Author of the Year per category.

This ensures that authors are evaluated within the context of their genre, subject matter, and intended audience—honoring excellence where it truly belongs.

Being named Author of the Year in your category represents one of the highest distinctions within the International Impact Book Awards program.

The Hollywood Grand Gala

The Hollywood Grand Gala, held in October 2026, serves as the formal celebration of the Author of the Year honorees across all categories.

The event brings together authors, publishing professionals, media leaders, and cultural influencers in a setting that reflects the seriousness and stature of the recognition.

Authors selected as Author of the Year in their respective categories are formally honored during the gala.
